Support for GCU continues from Arizona Congressional Reps
Members of Arizona’s Congressional delegation continue to show their support for Grand Canyon University in regards to the U.S. Department of Education’s ongoing attack against GCU, calling the harassment “un-American and unconstitutional” and declaring that they “stand with the men and women at this fine university as they fight against this tragic encroachment.”
A story on FOX News this morning shared that Arizona Congressmen Andy Biggs, Eli Crane, Paul Gosar and Debbie Lesko sent a letter to the U.S. Office of Inspector General to review the Biden Administrations conduct against the largest Christian university in the country. The letter states that the Department's "actions are a direct result of their well-documented disapproval of successful for-profit colleges and their unexplainable opposition to GCU’s 2018 conversion from for-profit to non-profit, which was supported by the Internal Revenue Service, the Higher Learning Commission, and the State of Arizona."
The story also points out Education Secretary Miguel Cardona’s reckless comments about GCU, the Department’s actions taken against other Christian universities and the support GCU has received from conservative organizations such as the Goldwater Institute and American Principles Project.
